On May 19, 2004, Synopsys, Inc. (the “Company”) announced the Company’s results of operations for its second fiscal quarter ended April 30, 2004. A copy of the Company’s press release announcing such results dated May 19, 2004 is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
