BUHRMANN ISSUES 2006 ANNUAL REPORT

Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 12 March 2007 – Buhrmann today published its 2006 Annual Report as well as the Annual Overview 2006. Both documents are available on the Company’s corporate website.

Buhrmann has combined its Annual Report and Form 20-F, which Buhrmann has to file with the US Securities and Exchange Commission every year as a consequence of its listing on the New York Stock Exchange.

In addition, Buhrmann published its Annual Overview 2006 which provides a comprehensive picture of the Company and the developments during 2006. The overview features a description of the Company, its strategy and the industry context. Furthermore, attention is paid to the course of the business of the divisions and to corporate responsibilities while key information is presented on Buhrmann’s performance.

The 2006 Annual Report is available in English whereas the Annual Overview 2006 is available both in English and Dutch.

Printed versions of both documents will be made available as per 15 March 2007.
