In this Current Report on Form 8-K, the term “the Company” refers to TravelCenters of America LLC.

 

Item 5.02.                Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On June 6, 2016, Arthur G. Koumantzelis notified the Company of his decision to resign from the Board of Directors of the Company (the “Board”) in connection with his retirement, effective June 30, 2016. Mr. Koumantzelis advised that the reasons for his resignation were not the result of any disagreement with the Company.  In connection with Mr. Koumantzelis’s resignation, the Board decreased the number of directors constituting the entire Board from six to five, effective as of the effective time of Mr. Koumantzelis’s resignation.
