Notification of Transactions of Directors, Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility or Connected Persons
I give below details of changes
in interests in the Ordinary shares of GlaxoSmithKline plc in respect of the
under-mentioned person:
Mr A P Witty acquired a
beneficial interest in 735 Ordinary shares arising from
the re-investment of dividends on 31 July 2009 at
£11.486 per share.
He also
exercised an award over 10,665 Ordinary shares under
the Company's Annual Incentive Plan on 31 July 2009 and sold 4,388
at a price of £11.55125 on 3 August to meet the tax liability arising
from this exercise.
The Company and the above named
individual were advised of this transaction on 3 August
2009.
This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a).
