On March 30, 2010, Knight Capital Group, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it had agreed to acquire Urban Financial Group, Inc., a privately-held, independent mortgage company, that is a major provider of home equity conversion mortgages (HECM), or reverse mortgages, in the U.S.
