Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On October 20, 2009, Nordson Corporation will conduct an Investor Day event which will be webcast in its entirety from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. eastern time. A copy of the news release announcing the event is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.

Campbell, our Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, and members of our executive management team will deliver a presentation (including an extensive slideshow) which will be available live via webcast through the company’s website, www.nordson.com.
