EVENTS
On April
5, 2010, Celanese Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing
that the Company had declared a cash dividend of $0.04 per share on its Series A
common stock. The cash dividend is for the period beginning on
February 1, 2010 and ending on and including April 30, 2010 and is payable on
May 1, 2010 to holders of record as of April 15, 2010. A copy of the press
release is attached to this Current Report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated
herein solely for purposes of this Item 8.01.
