(b)  On November 8, 2007, Rite Aid Corporation (the “Company”) announced that Mark Panzer, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, will leave the Company.

The Company issued a press release, dated November 8, 2007, announcing Mr. Panzer's resignation from the Company. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
