Item 8.01 Other Events
On May 11, 2017, Spirit Airlines, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing an agreement between the Company and the Air Line Pilots Association, International to extend the temporary restraining order ("TRO") issued by the United States District (Southern District of Florida), directing the pilots to restore the status quo while the Company and union remain in mediated contract negotiations. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
