Item 5.02    Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain             Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On June 5, 2017, David J. Bielenberg resigned as a member of the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of CHS Inc. (the “Company”). In his resignation letter to the Board (the “Resignation Letter”), Mr. Bielenberg stated that his resignation related to his disagreement with the Board’s determination to hire Jay Debertin as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. A copy of the Resignation Letter is attached hereto as Exhibit 17.1. At the time of his resignation from the Board, Mr. Bielenberg was not a member of any committee of the Board.
