(d) On December 7, 2004, Timothy R. McLevish, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ingersoll-Rand Company Limited, was elected to the Board of Directors of Kennametal Inc. Mr. McLevish has been named to the company’s Audit and Nominating/Corporate Governance Committees.
