Citizens & Northern Corporation announced the Company has joined the broad-market Russell 3000Ò Index when Russell Investments reconstituted its U.S. and global equity indexes on June 27, 2008, according to information available on www.russell.com. On July 1, 2008, Citizens & Northern Corporation issued a press release titled “Citizens & Northern Corporation Joins Russell 3000 Index,” a copy of which is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
