Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
    
Terex Corporation (“Terex” or the “Company”) announced on October 25, 2016 that Ken Lousberg, currently President, Terex Cranes, is leaving the Company to pursue other opportunities. The Company issued a press release on October 25, 2016 announcing Mr. Lousberg’s departure. A copy of this press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 and is hereby incorporated by reference into this Form 8-K.

Item 8.01. Other Events.

The Company announced on October 25, 2016 that Steve Filipov will assume the role of President, Terex Cranes effective immediately. Mr. Filipov will also continue with his responsibilities as President, Terex Material Handling and Port Solutions until completion of the announced sale of that segment to Konecranes Plc.
