Karl ‘Vblock Dutch’ Wilkins Unveils Debut Novel The Guardian Veil
First Installment of the Era of Ascension Trilogy Now Available on Amazon Books and Kindle.

Karl Wilkins, a Jamaican-born recording artist, recognized for his many songs and music production under the Vblock Entertainment imprint, has announced the release of his highly anticipated book, The Guardian Veil, now available on Amazon Books and Kindle. As the inaugural volume in the Era of Ascension trilogy, this new work explores the concept of hidden dimensions and the Guardians who protect humanity from realms beyond conventional perception.

The Guardian Veil presents a vivid exploration of worlds unseen by humans, who remain largely unaware that the physical plane they inhabit is a carefully protected matrix, shielded from the countless other realms and dimensions. The novel reveals that safeguards have been put in place by higher powers (The Guardians) to protect the human psyche from exposure to entities that could overwhelm our limited comprehension. When an unwitting individual crosses these cosmic boundaries, and lives to tell about it, the experience proves perilous and often leads to dire consequences. The author delves into this dramatic premise, weaving a narrative that addresses humanity’s guarded development and the delicate balance that prevents us from glimpsing reality outside the confines of our physical perception.

Karl Wilkins, also known as Vblock Dutch, has built a reputation in the music industry as a dynamic creator. Born in Jamaica, he left the island for Miami in the mid 1980s and later relocated to Brooklyn, New York in the mid-1990s. These transitions sparked his music career, which eventually positioned him as a triple threat: Dancehall DJ, Hip Hop MC, and a Music producer, who launched his own record label in 2003. His life experiences, including run-ins with various factions that led to his exile from Jamaica, inform much of his creative work. Struggles tied to his father’s notoriety shaped Dutch’s perspective, prompting him to channel his challenges through music and literature.

Today, he unveils his new novel, the first of the trilogy Era Of Ascension, which he intends to shop for a movie deal, and promises a new addition to the series each year around Christmas so stay tuned and follow his journey. In conjunction with these releases, Dutch reveals a personal account of his early life in his prior work, Memoir Of Mr Green-on-it, chronicling his childhood in Kingston, his pursuit of success and security in America, and the drive that propels him to this day, to forge a brighter future for him and his family. His primary inspiration for The Guardian Veil resides in the transformative power of creativity. “We’re all made in his image to create,” says Dutch, emphasizing the limitless possibilities of human imagination and the capacity for individuals to craft new perceptions of the world around them.
