As vice president of operations and chief nurse anesthetist at DPI Anesthesia, Dr. Todd plays an important role in managing teams and operations across multiple states. He also serves as the leader of the company's strategic planning and contracting initiatives.

Dr. Todd earned an MBA in health care administration from Louisiana State University in 2022 and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in nurse anesthesia from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in 2017. His foundational education is a bachelor's degree in nursing from Northwestern State University, completed in 2012, and a bachelor's degree in community health from Louisiana State University, earned in 2009.

Dedicated to his community, Dr. Todd's career in clinical work and leadership supports his ongoing interest in civic engagement. His dedication to improving health care extends to his broader goal of enhancing quality, affordability and accessibility for everyone. He is currently focused on enhancing job satisfaction and mitigating burnout among health care providers. In 2024, he was nominated for the 40 Under 40 award by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report for his work in the health care field, an honor he cherishes. He also received the Outstanding Clinical Student Award from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University.

Dr. Todd is also a strong advocate for education, and among his other interests, he is exploring additional involvement in the institutions where he works as a faculty member. He is also open to joining the boards of various organizations that align with his passions and is considering a run for a City Council seat, driven by his desire to make a real impact on his community.

Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Todd is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of health care professionals. He works as an adjunct professor and clinical coordinator at several universities, where he teaches and mentors future health care providers. Additionally, he has had several papers published in academic journals, including "Job Satisfaction of CRNAs for 1099 and W-2 Employment," which was published in the Franciscan University's Nurse Anesthesiology Journal in 2025. He also enjoys sharing his insights on the business of health care on several podcasts, including the American Journal of Healthcare Strategy Podcast.

Dr. Todd says he owes his professional success to his family's blue-collar work ethic. His upbringing taught him the importance of humility, resilience and giving back to his community. He has carried these values into his support for local youth organizations and his efforts to address issues like food insecurity. However, he says his wife is his greatest source of support, offering him the courage and confidence to pursue his wide range of professional and personal goals.

For the future, Dr. Todd plans to expand his community involvement, particularly in helping young people achieve their educational goals, a cause that is important to him given the significant role education has played in his own life. In his free time, he enjoys playing baseball and football with his three children, as well as hiking, fishing and other outdoor activities.
