“We’re honored to be included in Poets&Quants’ rankings for the fourth consecutive year, joining so many other schools we admire and respect,” said Dean Sippel, CEO of JWMI, “We are committed to providing students with the practical leadership and management tools needed to solve the real-world business challenges they face every day. We are grateful that our students feel that our program is helping them succeed and be the best they can be in their careers during such a tumultuous time.”

Poets&Quants based its rankings on three core dimensions of the programs, including: admissions standards, academic experience and the career outcomes of the graduates. Data for the rankings came from surveys distributed to participating schools and to alumni. Some 52 schools were included in this year’s ranking — a new record. Last year, 47 schools participated, up from 35 two years earlier, and 25 in the inaugural year.

Other schools’ online MBA programs included in the list were Carnegie Mellon University (Tepper), Santa Clara University (Leavey), University of Washington (Foster), Indiana University (Kelley), and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Kenan-Flagler).

Last year, JWMI was ranked 20th on Poets&Quants’ 2021 Best Online Programs list. The program has also been highly ranked among top online MBA programs by The Princeton Review and CEO Magazine.

“We at Strategic Education are incredibly proud to see the Jack Welch Management Institute ranked in the top 10 of Poets&Quants’ Best Online MBA Programs for 2022,” said Karl McDonnell, CEO of Strategic Education, parent company of Strayer University, “We are dedicated to providing our students with relevant, career advancing educational opportunities and the results from this ranking, which include survey data from our alumni, indicate that our students are extremely satisfied with their business school experience and that JWMI has met their expectations in providing the skills to be successful in their careers.”

Since becoming part of Strayer University in 2011, JWMI has grown rapidly and graduated more than 2,900 students. Founded by the renowned CEO and business icon, the late Jack Welch, JWMI was designed to provide students with opportunities to learn from business leaders and propel their careers forward. Jack Welch’s influence spans the curriculum, the faculty, the students and the administration. JWMI currently enrolls a diverse population of approximately 2,000 students, representing 58 countries.
