The Boston Globe Names CCC a Top Place to Work for 2022

Media Organization Honors the Best Employers in Massachusetts

CCC, a leader in advancing copyright, accelerating knowledge, and powering innovation, has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts in the 15th annual employee-based survey project from The Boston Globe. CCC ranked #17, up from #33 last year, in the “large companies” category (organizations between 250-999 employees).

Top Places to Work recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state as voted on by employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. The rankings in Top Places to Work are based on confidential survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention, from more than 90,000 individuals at 381 Massachusetts organizations, the most companies ever surveyed in the state. The winners share a few key traits, including offering more flexibility to continue working remotely, tracking progress on efforts to support a diverse workforce, and remembering to have some fun along the way.

"The pandemic has changed the way we work, and the employers who topped the list understand it goes far beyond the remote vs. in-office debate," said Katie Johnston, Top Places to Work editor, Boston Globe. "Workers want flexibility, of course, but they also want more support, more humanity, and a greater sense of purpose."

“We’re honored to have been named a Top Place to Work in Massachusetts for the second year in a row,” said Tracey Armstrong, President and CEO, CCC. “Over the past several years, our team has demonstrated tremendous agility and resilience as we’ve found new ways to connect with one another and our customers.”

CCC was recently named to the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts list by The Women’s Edge and Boston Globe and earned several 2022 Top Workplaces Culture Excellence Awards for Employee Appreciation, Employee Well-Being, Professional Development, and being Women-Led. Earlier this year, CCC won national recognition for Compensation & Benefits, Leadership, and Work-Life Flexibility.
