“Being a partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements is a natural fit as we are committed to common values of excellence, inclusion and respect,” said Jasmine Jirele, president and CEO, Allianz Life. “We’re proud to partner with these role models for fans and athletes of all abilities, backgrounds and ages, and we are honored to help support their ambitions as they get ready to compete in the Olympic and Paralympic Games.”

Ashleigh Johnson has helped the U.S. Women’s Water Polo team take home gold at two previous Olympic Games. Ashleigh is currently the top water polo goalkeeper in the world and the first Black female athlete to represent Team USA on the Olympic stage in water polo.

Minneapolis-native Chuck Aoki is a three-time U.S. Paralympic medalist in wheelchair rugby, winning silver at Tokyo 2020 and Rio 2016 and bronze at London 2012. Chuck has used a wheelchair for most of his life due to a genetic condition and competed in wheelchair basketball for 11 years prior to picking up wheelchair rugby.

Ian Seidenfeld, from Lakeville, Minnesota, hopes to defend his gold medal at the upcoming Paralympic Games Paris 2024. In addition to being a member of Team Allianz, Ian is also an Allianz Life employee as of February 2023.

Known as “The Armless Archer,” Matt Stutzman, who was born without arms, jumped into the international spotlight by winning the silver medal in archery at London 2012 before going on to compete at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. Matt recently won the gold medal in his event at the 2022 World Archery Para Championships.

Three-time Olympic medalist Regan Smith is one of the world’s premier in the women’s backstroke and broke her first World Record at 17 years old. With three medals already in her pocket, this Twin Cities-native is preparing to add to her collection in Paris. Recently, Regan broke one of the longest-standing American records in swimming with her performance in the 200m butterfly at the Sun Devil Open.

The partnerships complement Allianz being the Worldwide Insurance Partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements through 2028.
