bibigo™, the No. 1 brand of dumplings in the U.S., is inviting fans to show their love for their favorite bibigo™ products by singing karaoke to pay for them. Checkout Karaoke is giving hundreds of people the opportunity to satisfy their Korean flavor cravings for free by filming themselves using a new bibigo™ karaoke filter and posting a small clip of their performance on Tiktok, using the recently released bibigo™ theme song and commercial, “bibiGoGoGo.”

In November, bibigo™ surprised grocery shoppers in Los Angeles with a custom karaoke machine disguised in the self-checkout aisle. A video shared on social media featured customers belting out the catchy bibigo™ song and earning their free products. To make sure everyone can rise to the occasion, the brand is bringing their machine to the digital space through the TikTok filter named bibigo™ Checkout Karaoke. On top of being a tempting proposition, it is an invitation for the world to celebrate three staples of Korean culture: karaoke, dumplings and K-pop.

“We’re passionate about the power that food has to connect people around the globe and we believe this is a fun way to celebrate some of the most authentic aspects of Korean culture,” said Megan Elliott, Marketing Director at Schwan’s Company, a U.S.-based affiliate of CJ CheilJedang. “Korean food and karaoke have a special place in our hearts and we want to pass the mic to all of those who share those passions too. We’re not looking for the best singers. We want people who share our passion to ‘live delicious’ through food, friends and fun.”

To participate, people are invited to share their performance on TikTok for a chance to win one of two prizes. For this sweepstakes, there will be up to one (1) Grand Prize winner and up to two hundred (200) Second Prize winners.

  1. Grand Prize: $3,000 to cover the cost of the Ultimate Karaoke Experience, including but not limited to airfare and travel expenses, food and beverage, karaoke and entertainment in Las Vegas, Nevada.
  2. Second Prize: One (1) bibigo™ free product coupon.

Influencers such as Abiud Sandoval, Linda Meeker, Sang Cho and Shuang Hu will start the groove by sharing their best take. Everyone is invited to take the spotlight and use their voice as a currency, no matter the level of their singing ability.

How to use the TikTok filter:

  1. First, make sure your TikTok app is running the latest update to ensure you find the filter easily.
  2. Find our filter by searching “bibigo Checkout Karaoke” on the Effects tab.
  3. Mute the generic music playing when you pull-up the filter by clicking on the "x" at the top of the screen.
  4. Next, it’s bibi-go-go-go time: Simply tap "Tap to start" and create a TikTok of yourself using the filter and trying to keep up with the lyrics and the rhythm of the song!
  5. Be sure to tag @bibigousa and include the hashtag #bibigosweepstakes in the caption.

The sweepstakes begins on January 25, 2024, at 6:01 p.m. Central Time and ends on February 29, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. Potential winners will be chosen via a random computerized drawing.
