AuditBoard Names Sarika Khanna as CPO, To Help Lead Next Phase of Innovation and Growth

Former product leader at Medallia and SAP joins executive team while company appoints Haibei (Happy) Wang CTO, Kevin Jhangiani CAO.

AuditBoard, the leading cloud-based platform transforming audit, risk, compliance, and ESG management, today announced it has named SaaS public company product development executive, Sarika Khanna, as Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead ongoing customer-centric innovation for AuditBoard’s award-winning connected risk platform through continued global scale.

AuditBoard also announced it has appointed Haibei (Happy) Wang, as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), expanding her role to include oversight of technology and development strategies as well as the related global functions for the company. She serves as a strategic leader for the technology department, continuing to shape the technology roadmap and driving innovation. In addition, Kevin Jhangiani has been named Chief Architect Officer (CAO), responsible for shaping the architecture strategy for the company’s award-winning platform.

These technology leadership announcements come on the heels of AuditBoard’s continued rapid growth and customer recognition. The company surpassed $200 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) last year, thanks to best-in-class customer sentiment for the platform. About the New Executives

Sarika Khanna, CPO

As CPO, Khanna will focus on keeping customer-centric innovation at the forefront, building and retaining a world-class product and design organization, and leading the company’s product strategy and vision. Khanna is a global C-level executive with over 25 years of experience and deep domain expertise as a Chief Product Officer in B2B and SaaS organizations ranging from startups to multi-billion-dollar companies. Most recently she served as the Chief Product Officer for Medallia Inc (NYSE:MDLA), a leading B2B SaaS customer and employee experience platform serving over 1000 leading brands including half of the Fortune 100. Khanna has also held product leadership positions at Oracle, SAP, CallidusCloud, and Litmos.

Happy Wang, CTO

As CTO, Wang oversees the technology vision, strategy, and execution for AuditBoard to support the company's overall objectives and align technology initiatives with growth goals. In her previous role as Chief Development Officer at AuditBoard, Wang led the company’s Engineering and IT teams. Before joining AuditBoard, Wang served as the Chief Technology Officer at Everbridge, where she led worldwide product development, data, and artificial intelligence and machine learning teams. Prior to Everbridge, she spent more than 20 years in technology leadership roles within public and private high-growth technology companies including ServiceNow, PayPal, Globality, and AccelOps/Fortinet. Wang has a history of serving as a customer advocate and playing pivotal leadership roles in delivering top-performing, customer-centric products and services to scale technology businesses.

Kevin Jhangiani, CAO

As Chief Architect Officer, Jhangiani oversees the design and implementation of AuditBoard’s architecture strategy, working closely with AuditBoard’s CPO and CTO to ensure that the company's technological infrastructure aligns with its business objectives and supports its innovation initiatives. Prior to this new role, Jhangiani served in a variety of technical roles at AuditBoard – from early start-up as one of the company’s first employees, to scaling the business beyond $200M in ARR as its CTO. His vision and expertise have been central to AuditBoard’s success in introducing market innovations and world-class solutions to meet the needs of today's corporate audit, risk, infosec, and ESG teams. Prior to AuditBoard, Jhangiani held technology leadership roles at CommercePack, including three years as CTO. He has an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from UCLA and a B.A. in Computational & Systems Biology (Cybernetics) from UCLA.

Former CPO Evan Fitzpatrick has moved into a role as a technology advisor.
