AIEEV Unveils Air Cloud, a Fully Distributed AI Inference Platform Leveraging Idle GPUs

AIEEV (CEO Sejin Park), a South Korean start-up specialized in distributed-GPU AI cloud, has announced the official launch of Air Cloud, a 100% distributed, inference-only AI cloud that connects idle GPUs from consumers and enterprises to enable low-cost AI inference.

The proliferation of AI services has caused an explosion in demand for inference, straining the resources of global data centers. While existing public clouds are expanding data centers to meet growing demand, high capital expenditures and energy efficiency limits are raising concerns about long-term scalability.

AIEEV addresses these issues by unifying GPU edge nodes around the world into a single, cohesive cloud. By integrating idle gaming GPUs in PC cafés and Dnotitia’s personal LLM device Mnemos, it can provide an AI inference environment without traditional data centers. This allows AI models to be run and deployed without complicated setup or specialized personnel.

Following nine months of technical verification with about 20 AI companies, AIEEV is launching Air Cloud as a platform with improved execution optimization, cost efficiency, payment stability, and robust security. In celebration of the launch, the company is offering a free Proof-of-Concept (PoC) program with a 50% discount.

AIEEV aims to secure more than 100,000 consumer GPU nodes worldwide by 2026 and establish itself as a low-cost, highly scalable AI inference platform. The company plans to help startups and small and medium-sized enterprises operate AI services at reasonable costs compared to existing public clouds.

Sejin Park, CEO of AIEEV, said, “For AI infrastructure, service competitiveness requires not only speed and cost but also stability. Thanks to its distributed architecture, Air Cloud ensures service continuity even in the event of failures.”

Meanwhile, AIEEV has been selected to participate in the nation’s major programs including Samsung Electronics’ C-Lab startup incubation program, Daegu City’s ABB project, SK Telecom’s AI Startup Accelerating program, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ TIPS program. Through the Ministry’s Deep Tech GMEP project, the company is also discussing collaborations with global companies via Plug and Play in Silicon Valley.

“For AI infrastructure, service competitiveness requires not only speed and cost but also stability. Thanks to its distributed architecture, Air Cloud ensures service continuity even in the event of failures.”
