Livable Buckhead's Hot Chocolate Crawls on Dec. 6 and Dec. 13
Festive flavor takes the spotlight with two holiday hot chocolate crawls. On Saturday, Dec. 6, explore Buckhead Village and nearby shops, enjoying unique takes on hot chocolate, live performances and specialty cocktails for purchase along the way. The fun continues on Saturday, Dec. 13, with a sweet stroll along the Peachtree Road corridor, featuring stops at Lenox Square, Phipps Plaza and local hotspots. Both crawls offer free admission, a walkable atmosphere, cheerful music and -- for a $5 donation -- a commemorative mug to remember the occasion.
Gather for Tradition: Tree Lighting
After the Dec. 6 Hot Chocolate Crawl, make your way to Charlie Loudermilk Park for the beloved holiday tree lighting. The 24-foot sparkling tree, festive llamas and live music set the scene for a truly magical night. Earlier that day, families can take part in Wreath Decorating for Atlanta’s Heroes at the Buckhead Village Veranda, showing appreciation for city first responders.
Indulge in Holiday Feasts, Teas & Treats
Buckhead’s restaurants and hotels are bringing festive cheer with holiday experiences! Carmel offers free oysters on Black Friday, a Dec. 5 Oyster Hour, a Feast of the Seven Fishes on Dec. 24 and a New Year’s Eve prix fixe dinner. The St. Regis Atlanta features Santa Tuck-Ins, Afternoon Tea with Santa, a Nutcracker Christmas tree and a Christmas Day Brunch. At The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel, enjoy the Deck the Rooftop Holiday Bar with seasonal drinks and views. Nobu hosts Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 6 and 13, Alon’s Bakery offers a Winter Luxe Wine Tasting on Dec. 21, and North Italia serves festive cocktails, a $25 Holiday Lunch Fixe and Ginger Snap Butter Cake.
Music Is in the Air
Buckhead’s retail centers are alive with the sounds of the season, offering a variety of musical holiday experiences. Lenox Square features the Atlanta Opera Holiday Performance on Dec. 6, filling the Luxury Wing with beloved holiday classics. Phipps Plaza hosts Magic Flute 2.0 on The Green on Nov. 23, and Holiday Harmony with The Atlanta Opera on Dec. 13, accompanied by gourmet cocoa and festive fun.
