Hamilton Global Specialty Appoints Sinead Cormican as Active Underwriter of Syndicate 4000 and Sukh Chana, Mark Johnson as Joint Deputy Active Underwriters

(NYSE: HG) (“Hamilton” or the “Company”), today announced the appointment of Sinead Cormican as Active Underwriter of Syndicate 4000, reporting to Miles Osorio, who continues in his role as Chief Underwriting Officer, Hamilton Global Specialty. Having served as Deputy Active Underwriter for four years, Cormican brings a proven track record to her promotion, ensuring continued underwriting excellence in the market.

Additionally, Sukh Chana and Mark Johnson have been appointed as joint Deputy Active Underwriters. Chana continues his role as Head of Financial Institutions and Johnson maintains his role as Head of Property D&F. Both Chana and Johnson report to Cormican. All appointments are effective April 1, 2025, subject to regulatory approval.

Trevor Ormes currently serves as Deputy Active Underwriter and Head of Professional Lines for Syndicate 4000 and will be retiring on April 30, 2025.

Cormican brings over 20 years of underwriting experience to her new role, the past ten of which have been with Hamilton. She has served as Deputy Active Underwriter for Hamilton Syndicate 4000 since 2020, prior to which she was Head of Property D&F for two years.

Osorio has over three decades of insurance industry experience and, along with Daws, is one of Hamilton’s first hires. He has served as Active Underwriter for Hamilton Syndicate 4000 since November 2020. Previously, he was Deputy Active Underwriter and Head of Property for Hamilton’s Lloyd’s operations.

With over 20 years of insurance industry experience, Chana has served as Head of Financial Institutions at Hamilton for over five years, having joined during the Company’s 2019 acquisition of Pembroke.

Johnson has 20 years of insurance industry experience and has served as Head of Property D&F for four years, with a total of 10 years at Hamilton.
