GoGet Secure Thrills Ethical Hackers With Free Comprehensive List Of Bug Bounty Programs
The one-of-a-kind list allows users to easily explore and sort hundreds of bug bounty programs across multiple platforms, leveraging KPIs such as resolved reports, total payouts, and much more to identify the best opportunities.

Cybersecurity publisher, GoGet Secure, has launched a comprehensive list of bug bounty programs on its website. Best described as a treasure trove for bounty hunters, the new list is the first in the cybersecurity space that allows ethical hackers to sort through hundreds of bug bounty programs across multiple platforms.

"We created this list to allow people to easily identify and sort through new bug bounty programs and opportunities," says Stefan Schulz, Senior Editor of GoGet Secure. "There are a lot of great bug bounty platforms out there. But they only promote what's on their site. We wanted to aggregate as many programs as possible and provide ethical hackers with a bird's eye view of all active programs across popular websites."

According to AllTheResearch, the global bug bounty market was valued at $223.1 million in 2020 and is expected to reach $5,465.5 million by 2027. Interestingly, despite the increase in businesses adopting vulnerability disclosure programs, cyberattacks and breaches also appear to be rising at a similar pace.

In its 2022 Hacker-Powered Security Report, HackerOne disclosed that its community of ethical hackers discovered over 65,000 software vulnerabilities within the calendar year. The platform, which hosts bug bounty programs for private and public organizations, including government agencies, claims to have received 920 reports from 424 researchers in 2022 and awarded a total of $1,055,770 in bounties across 221 valid reports.

Highlighting key cybersecurity trends, leading crowdsourced cybersecurity company, Bugcrowd, also announced a rise in the adoption of crowdsourced security, which it ascribed to the global shift to hybrid and remote work models, as well as the rapid digital transformation associated with it. The company's 2022 Priority One report also revealed that security buyers have responded to the increased threat by investing heavily to incentivize ethical hackers to find critical threats. While both platforms have undoubtedly contributed to the industry's growth, they serve a very small percentage of available businesses.

Entering the space to create a reference on published bug bounty programs for hackers, GoGet Secure's new list serves as a centralized source of information for accessing all available bug bounty programs, including self-hosted and privately listed programs. The platform tracks these programs using key performance indicators such as launch dates, payouts, and reports resolved. The resource provides ethical hackers with a way to compare programs easily. GoGet Secure has also announced plans to update the table with more filtering options and design enhancements to give deeper and more meaningful insights into program assessments.

"One of the key metrics people get hung up on is total payouts. But just because a company has paid out a ton of bounties over the life of its program doesn't mean that it's a great opportunity for hackers today. We're looking to take some of the guesswork out of bounty hunting. Some programs seem enticing, but based on their scope, they're pretty airtight. We want to redirect the efforts of security researchers to products and services that truly need the help, and at the same time, we want to help hackers get a better return on their invested time."
