The 609 square foot garage was converted into a modern, comfortable living space for her and her rescue senior chihuahua featuring a blend of beige and white tones, brass accents, and a variety of textures.Reene’s commitment to sustainability and affordability was evident in her use of remnant Taj Mahal quartzite slabs for the countertops, saving over $12,000.
Reene’s garage renovation not only created a beautiful living space, but also significantly increased the value of her home. By transforming an underutilized area into a functional, attractive apartment, she effectively added equity to her property; her home is now considered a duplex by the city of Sacramento.
