Following her successful step up to a GT3 car at the previous event in Most, Aliyyah Koloc will once again be racing in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 for FULLINRACE by INTERACTION. The Dubai-born driver with Czech and Seychellois roots will be sharing the car with experienced Czech racer Petr Fulín.
"I'm really looking forward to the GT3 race in Brno, as this time I had more time to prepare, which was beneficial. It will also be my last circuit race of the season," said Aliyyah.
The Brno circuit will present a different challenge compared to Most. "At Most, I had the advantage of knowing the track very well, so I mainly had to focus on getting used to the car. Brno will be more challenging since I'm not as familiar with the circuit. I'll need to learn the track and understand how the car behaves on it. I'm very grateful for this opportunity and want to thank Petr and his team for giving me this chance," added the 21-year-old driver.
FACE OFF program continues
The FACE OFF program drivers Filip Nedoma and Miroslav Mikeš will once again be paired with experienced racers Martin Hudec and Adam Lacko in their AMG-Mercedes GT4 cars. The standings are extremely tight: after Most, the crew of car number 29 (Martin Hudec and Filip Nedoma) leads with 166 points, while car number 55 (Adam Lacko and Miroslav Mikeš) trails by just two points.
In the FACE OFF Drivers' standings, Miroslav Mikeš has 83 points, while Filip Nedoma follows with 59.
Contrary to Aliyyah, Adam Lacko has extensive experience on the Brno Circuit. "I'm looking forward to Brno. The new surface has made the entire track at least four to five seconds faster. I'm expecting another strong race. It's great to be racing in front of our home crowd and the Czech fans, and I hope we'll achieve a solid result as the competition is intense," said Adam.
The GT Cup weekend in Brno will feature a one-hour endurance race and two 25-minute sprint races.
