“The Day I Lived” by Victoria Regina Lockhart will be displayed at The American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference and Exhibition on June 23-28, 2022, in Washington D.C.

There are unforgettable moments that took place in a day that made history. September 11th accumulated moments that became one of the most horrific days in American History – several hi-jacked planes were purposely driven into the North and South Towers at the World Trade Center; the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia and the fourth plane was intended to hit a federal government building in Washington, D.C., but instead crashed down in a field outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania – this day is now known as 9/11.

On September 11, 2001, Victoria was on the 63rd floor of One World Trade Center when the first hijacked plane hit Tower One. A complete account of her experiences and encounters on that sad day is presented in this book.

She describes her day, in explicit detail -- beginning with the minute she got up and ending with her arrival at her residence that evening. She chronicles the emotional reactions of family members especially her mother and youngest brother who are both deceased and friends when they learned that God's Grace rescued her from the clutches of death and destruction that was evident in the hearts of those who committed these heinous acts. To date, Victoria is extremely grateful and thankful for the blessing of life to share with the people that thought they'd never see her again. She refers to 9/11 as the day she was “born again, again”.

“The Day I lived” is a book that will touch the reader's soul and open their eyes. Interested? Purchase a copy of “The Day I Lived” by Victoria Regina Lockhart at Amazon and visit the upcoming ALA Annual Conference and Exhibition 2022.
