PRLog - May 30, 2013 - OTTAWA, Canada -- On Tuesday, June 18th 2013, the second annual Ottawa Condo Show will give potential buyers the rare opportunity to look at a wide array of condo projects in the Ottawa region. From downtown high-rises to townhomes in Orleans, from entry-level bachelor pads to luxury penthouses, they’ll all be well-represented at the now annual event at 190 Lisgar Street, hosted by Bennett Property Shop Realty.
Attendance is expected to top that of last year’s inaugural show, which surpassed the 300 mark. For four hours, during the summery evening, builders from across the Greater Ottawa Area will be taking Bennett Property Shop up on the invitation to set up comprehensive displays and talk to the public about their brand-new offerings.

Swift thinking saves legwork
“We’d often talk about the demands placed on buyers to traipse all over the place, from sales centre to sales centre,” says Marnie Bennett a broker and head marketer. “If you’re not sure what exactly you’re looking for, shoppers’ fatigue sets in pretty quickly.
“We thought, if we could just get all those sales centres in one central location for one day, people would be able to comparison shop much more easily."
The fledgling show was an unmitigated success, with only standing-room left in some of the educational workshops hosted on site. To judge from public reaction, buyers appreciated both the convenience of comparing projects nose-to-nose, and the exposure to projects they might have missed otherwise. “We had quite a few people expressing relief that we’d helped them put the condo shopping process on fast-forward,” says Bennett.
Bobsleigh champ sliding in to greet attendees
Four-time World Cup medaller Cody Sorensen will be on hand to meet the public, demonstrate his bobsleigh and talk about his Olympic aspirations. Team members at Bennett Property Shop Realty are proud to be Cody’s official sponsor, and they hope his presence at the show will encourage others to consider sponsoring Olympic hopefuls.
Gold medal savings
If eliminating the legwork isn’t enough of an incentive to attend, many Condo Show builders are offering exclusive savings – up to $10,000 in some cases – during the event.
As they did last year, the Bennett team is hosting a series of workshops throughout the event, on topics ranging from financing to interior design all while enjoying live entertainment and refreshements.
