Intertek Expands North Dakota Bakken Shale Oil Laboratory Operations

Intertek, a leading quality solutions provider to industries worldwide, has expanded its North Dakota Shale Oil & Gas service capabilities with a new, state-of-the-art 10,000-square-foot laboratory in Bismarck.

Intertek’s expanded testing capabilities in North Dakota not only reduce turnaround times but also provide enhanced solutions for field and lab services in all market sectors, including crude-by-rail, pipeline, midstream, petroleum refining, and wellhead production.

Experienced personnel at the new facility include chemists, lab technicians, and inspectors. Intertek deliberately chose the Bismarck-Mandan area for the laboratory, providing an attractive quality of life for both employees and their families.

Growing demand for Intertek’s services in North Dakota is driving future plans to add an additional 10,000-square-foot oil & gas metering and measurement services facility adjacent to the new lab.
