Research and Markets: Needs of German Institutional Investors 2014

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/98j3sc/needs_of_german) has announced the addition of the "Needs of German Institutional Investors 2014" report to their offering.

Somewhat contradictory could sum up the view for investors in 2013. On the one hand risk was frequently rewarded in the US and European securities markets. On the other hand emerging markets and commodities disappointed.

On the whole investors were spared high market volatility and a rekindling of crises in 2013. Judging by the first few months of the year, however, 2014 could look quite different.

Securities markets were coming under pressure from an intensification of the crisis in emerging markets - related to currency turbulence - as well as fears about weak growth in the global economy. In addition the withdrawal of liquidity by the US Federal Reserve could also contribute to increased volatility.

It is against this backdrop that we have carried out our annual survey of institutional investors which is now in its eighth year.

Thanks to another speedy and efficient evaluation of the responses, we have been able to present the results to you within a month of the end of the survey period.
