Two specific tests are approved for English assessments: the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). For those who want to be assessed for their French proficiency, only one test is accepted, which is the Test d'Evaluation de Francais (TEF).
