Ex-Merck employees gets 3 years in prison for insider trading

NEW YORK, Oct 13 (Reuters) - A former Merck & Co Inc employee was sentenced to more than three years in prison on Tuesday for engaging in an insider trading scheme by tipping a friend at Bank of New York Mellon Corp about potential pharmaceutical mergers.
