Polymath Consultant Adam Emanon Helps Make Learning Challenging Subjects Easier With Curiosity Guides Launch: Learning Japanese

By: Get News
Toronto – After spending just 4 months analyzing the initial layers that beginners face when learning Japanese, Adam Emanon published his guide for rapid learning the challenging language, now available as “The Curiosity Guides” series on Amazon.

Local entrepreneur Emanon has been challenging himself to learn new languages, subjects, and skills for over 5 years. After starting a blog in 2013 many people commented that he should “write a book about the things you study”, so he began to document and share his collected wisdom in downloadable whitepapers and curated ebooks.

Now the most popular of his whitepaper series has been given the brand name “The Curiosity Guide” books and will be rewritten and published to reach a wider audience. The first rapid learning eBook in the series is his revamped The Curiosity Guide to Learning Japanese: Learn to read, write, and speak Japanese, in an easy way and on your own terms!

While some people eschew casual learning Emanon says it’s a part of his M.O. “I’m a scanner, I’m interested in all kinds of different things, I love learning and I enjoy writing. I realized my brain was overflowing with information and needed a better way to get it out of my head in an organized way so it could be of value to other people even when I wasn’t around. That’s why I started writing ebooks, and knowing that I can make a greater impact on my growing audience has been great!”

Highly accomplished entrepreneur Elon Musk, who has mastered online payments, rocket launching, and electric car manufacturing said in a Reddit AMA last year “I think most people can learn a lot more than they think they can. They sell themselves short without trying. One bit of advice: it is important to view knowledge as sort of a semantic tree – make sure you understand the fundamental principles, ie the trunk and big branches, before you get into the leaves/details or there is nothing for them to hang on to.”

The Curiosity Guide to Learning Japanese is being published initially to Amazon as a short ebook, to be available to the increasing global volume of students learning languages and Japanese specifically.

The Curiosity Guide’s approach to helping students learning Japanese is to cut past all the confusing information and material that beginners often get muddled up in, and just focus on the crux of what they need to know and how to learn it more directly and efficiently, to minimize frustration and maintain motivation. The guide provides readers a run-down of which online learning tools to use, apps to download, and even basic knowledge of the Japanese language itself are included in the book, so readers can jump right into their learning process from the first day they download the ebook.

The Kindle version is available on Amazon globally and can be read using a free Kindle reading app on any internet-connected computer or phone.

Future knowledge curation and transfer projects (both published as books and available as workshops) will be established as readers respond to Emanon’s growing body of work, and requests from private business organizations.

Emanon has been recognized as an expert in knowledge curation and transfer systems, his library of whitepapers and ebooks have been cumulatively downloaded thousands of times, he has spoken at Nerd Nite Toronto and The Center for Inquiry, and has interviewed Jesse Brown of the Canadaland podcast, Heather Payne of HackerYou, and David Christopher of OpenMedia.ca

His clients for writing and curation have included Fluent in 3 Months, Squag, The City of Toronto, Power Up Strategy, and in 2016 Emanon will be partnering with coworking colleagues at the Centre for Social Innovation to bring new learning opportunities to the community.

Emanon is making his knowledge curation and transfer abilities available to a limited list of new clients in 2016, through a combination of consulting, and various live training formats including corporate training, workshops, and speaking engagements.

Emanon is becoming known amongst clients, peers and colleagues online for sharing his contemplations. “I read some of your other posts and thought they were great. I love the questions you’re asking yourself.” shared actor Josh Radnor of How I Met Your Mother fame.
