Beth Baldwin Awarded Bay Area’s ‘Most Influential Women in Business’ by SF Business Times

Burr Pilger Mayer, Inc. (BPM), is pleased to announce that Beth Baldwin, Chief People Officer, has been selected as one of the San Francisco Business Times' "Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business" for 2016.

“Beth is an outstanding leader because her commitment to BPM’s motto – ‘Because People Matter’ – is evident in everything she does,” said Jim Wallace, Chief Executive Officer of BPM. “She is a vital asset to the firm and our future.”

Since joining the firm in 2008, Beth has played a critical role in maintaining the firm’s strong people centric culture. Her open door policy, ability to visualize the big picture and make hard decisions for the benefit of the firm, is why she serves as a key member of both the Firm’s Corporate Services Team and Management Committee. Her approachability, vivacious personality and “realness” is why she is often regarded as a mentor to many of our BPMers both in and out of her department.

“Beth was selected as winner due to her high level of responsibility and success in her position,” commented the San Francisco Business Times.

Her devotion to creating opportunities for individual development and career growth has led to many of our programs including: BPMU, which hosts over 200 technical classes a year; BPM’s Emerging Leaders Academy, geared to training rising stars on the partner track; and most recently, BPM’s Women’s Initiative Now! (WIN), focused on advancing women in the firm, both professionally and individually.

Recipients will be honored at a gala awards dinner on June 16, 2016 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.
