Stocks Fall; Dow, S&P Cling To Gains For April

Stocks were lower again Friday, led by tech stocks, which had their worst weekly loss in two months on the back of disappointing earnings. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 57.12 points, or 0.3%, to 17,773.64, while the S&P 500 lost 10.50 points, or 0.5%, to 2,065.31. The Nasdaq slid 29.93 points, or 0.6%, to 4,775.36; Apple ( AAPL ) ended lower for the seventh straight day, and a strong quarter from Amazon ( AMZN ) couldn’t help tech get back in the black.
