NewMarket Latin America, Inc. Announces Alexandre Couto as President to Lead Brazilian Premier Oracle Integrator UniOne

NewMarket Latin America, Inc. (OTC:NLAI) today announced the appointment of Alexandre Couto as President of the Companys subsidiary, UniOne. UniOne is a premier systems integration firm in Latin America representing technologies from leaders such as Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), SSA Global, Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) and Hyperion. Notably, UniOne is the biggest Hyperion partner in Latin America. Hyperion was recently acquired by Oracle.

With operations in both Brazil and Chile, UniOne has been consolidated into NewMarket Latin America. NewMarket Latin America anticipates $30 million in revenue for 2007. Business intelligence and systems integration operations operating as UniOne produced approximately $8.7 million in revenue for the first six months of 2007. Additional revenue of approximately $4.3 million for the first six months of 2007 came from other business units in Latin America in the process of being consolidated in NewMarket Latin America.

Mr. Couto is one of the founding members of UniOne and has been responsible for the companys strategic growth through operations in both Brazil and Chile. In his role as President, Mr. Couto will oversee UniOnes operations in Latin America to continue to grow the company through strengthening existing client relationships, expanding the companys product and service offerings and further diversifying the Companys customers which include Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), TAM, Avon (NYSE:AVP) and others. With more than 18 years experience in the technology industry, Mr. Coutos experience includes co-founding Improve Business Consulting, which merged into Mind Technology and is now known as UniOne. Mr. Couto completed his undergraduate studies at Faculdades Associadas de São Paulo where he received a Bachelors of Business Administration with a specialization in Systems Analysis and a Masters of Production Management from the prestigious Fundação Getύlio Vargas, a Brazilian think tank and one of the top universities in Latin America.
