Health Insurance Innovations (Nasdaq: HIIQ) reported record preliminary third quarter revenue.


Novocure (Nasdaq: NVCR) will make five data presentations at the International Associations for the Study of Lung Cancer 18th World Conference on Lung Cancer this week in Yokohama, Japan.

On the downside


Ardelyx (Nasdaq: ARDX) reported positive preclinical data for tenapanor in treating abdominal pain caused by irritable bowel syndrome with constipation but the stock price continued to fall as investors locked in profits.


Fairholme Capital Management fund manager Bruce Berkowitz resigned from the board of Sears Holdings (Nasdaq: SHLD).

Shares of Tandem Diabetes Care (Nasdaq: TNDM) extended its losses.


In the broad market, declining issues barely edged out advancers by a slim margin on the NYSE while decliners outpaced advancers by nearly 9 to 8 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 rose 4 points to 2,557. Bitcoin surged $135 to $5,687.
