As the country approaches Veterans Day on Nov 11, Work For Veterans Publishing begins the search for U.S. Business Owners and Employers to be featured in their upcoming book project that will benefit Veterans charities.

Brian Richards, Special Projects Coordinator at Work For Veterans Publishing, confirmed they have officially launched a nationwide search for Employers in every U.S. State to be featured in the upcoming book series, “Getting a Job in [State]” – Veterans Editions.

Richards said, “We anticipate a lot of exposure around this project for both the Veterans charities and the people we select to interview for the books. So we really want to showcase those Employers and Businesses in each State who are actually in the trenches, working hard every day and willing to share those experiences to benefit a great group of Veterans organizations and promote the success of Veterans and their families. That’s what will make this a win, win, win project.”

Explaining the search process, Richards elaborated, “This is an important book for us, so we will be reaching out to a select group of Business Owners and Employers in each State we feel can be advocates for the success of US military Veterans, while at the same time helping to spread the word about great local Veterans charities.”

Work For Veterans Publishing has pledged 100% of the royalties from the retail sales of the books to be donated to Veterans charities, especially those supporting Veterans in their job-seeking endeavors.

Immediately after each set of interviews and book preparation have been completed, each “Getting a Job in [State]” book will be released, spotlighting a maximum of thirty Employers and Businesses selected from the search, sharing their insights and real world experiences on seeking employment in their State’s job market.

Richards explained, “These books aren’t actually just about ‘getting a job’. The employers we select are keen to help Veterans find even more meaningful service in civilian life. They will answer the most common questions and bust the myths and misconceptions so many people have about getting a job. Each book will identify local State issues and include specific advice for Veterans.”

Richards went on to describe the book as, “… a powerful resource for Veterans and their families who want to improve their employment situation, even if their past experiences haven’t always been as positive as hoped.”

With quite a number of industry leaders already expressing interest in participating, Work For Veterans Publishing is expected to make an announcement revealing the final interviewee selections for each book by the first week of December 2017.

However, Richards asserted, “One of the reasons we launched this search is because we didn’t want to go the route of filling this book with the stereotypical ‘experts’. This search would be unnecessary if that was the case.”
