Blue Apple Electric Announces Participation in Candlelighters' 30th Annual Superhero 5K Race

Blue Apple Electric, a company offering residential and commercial electrical services, announces their participation in the Superhero 5K race held annually to benefit the families served by Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada

LAS VEGAS, NV, August 22, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Blue Apple Electric, a company offering residential and commercial electrical services, is announcing their participation in the Superhero 5K race held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada to benefit the families served by Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada. Blue Apple Electric will be a Wonder Woman Sponsor donating $7,500 for the race that will be held on September 14, 2019 at Mountain's Edge Exploration Peak Park.

The event's fundraising goal has been set to $170,000 and has raised nearly $40,000 to date from nearly 50 teams. The local community is invited to attend the event, run the race and volunteer in support of families battling childhood cancer hardships. The event page reads, "The event will host food, a kids zone with bounce houses, a raffle, and of course your everyday superheroes in full costume. All registrations come with a finisher medal and cape while supplies lasts."

Chartered in 1978, the vision of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada is "to alleviate the isolation many families feel at the time their child is diagnosed" by providing "emotional support, quality of life programs, and financial assistance for children and their families affected by childhood cancer." Candlelighters serves approximately 125 families every month and up to 600 children (both siblings and diagnosed children) every year.
