Sacramento's newest bar and first adults only indoor mini golf course, Flatstick Pub, will be opening this October in Downtown Commons.
SACRAMENTO, CA, October 17, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Flatstick Pub's primary draw: a one-of-a-kind mini golf course running through the bar that pays homage to SacTown. Expect familiar landmarks, challenging greens, keg-crafted obstacles and a deep appreciation for the City of Trees. For those looking for a new experience Flatstick Pub also offers a rigorous Duffleboard course (think mini golf mixed with quirky dose of bumper pool and shuffle board).
Locally-owned and family-operated, the owners are seeking to enliven and empower the downtown community.
"We wanted to build a space in Sacramento that celebrated the city," says Jennifer Robinson, Flatstick Pub Chief Marketing Officer and owner. "We felt that Sacramentans would really connect with the opportunity to play, fall in love with a spectrum of local artisans, and help grow the heart of downtown."
The bar boasts 42 tap handles featuring craft beer and draft cocktails; all from Northern California with a staggering representation from the Sacramento region. A number of local wines and ciders are also available to round out the constantly rotating draft menu.
Street tacos with Mexicali-inspired flavors will be featured at the on-site restaurant, #Taco. "Local is a core value of Flatstick Pub and #Taco's menu will pay homage to the city's farm-to- fork roots," says Christopher Arch, #Taco's chef.
In addition, Flatstick Pub has recruited popular Sac artists — Gina Rossi and Maren Conrad — to enliven its flagship California space with original murals and interactive installations including a replica of the iconic Tower Bridge as one of the mini golf course's obstacles.
