Lockheed nabs $22.4M for work on LCS-based laser system

Lockheed Martin was awarded a $22.4 million contract for integration, demonstration, testing and operation on the Layered Laser Defense system prototype onboard a Navy littoral combat ship, the Pentagon announced.
