Merrimack, Nov 10, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - At the FormNext virtual trade show held from November 10 to 12, 2020, Prodways, part of Prodways Group, a specialist in digital design and additive manufacturing, announces the availability of its ProMaker P1000X 3D printing machine to all industry players, noting its compatibility with the full catalog of materials.

Launched at FormNext in 2019, the ProMaker P1000X printer has proved its worth in the field. Prodways recently won two new international clients, impressed by the innovative technical features of these 3D printers.

Sculpteo, the service bureau subsidiary of BASF, was one of the first to adopt the P1000X printer:

"We saw the ProMaker P1000X as a very good option to incorporate new materials into our offer, on account of its excellent productivity/cost ratio. Prodways' solution enables us to innovate and to use the most effective materials currently arriving on the market," explained Clément Moreau, Chief Executive Officer of Sculpteo.

Based on powder laser sintering technology, the ProMaker P1000X is compatible with more than 7 materials in the Prodways range. The P1000X can now be operated with the flexible TPU, the classic PA12, the PA11 in the natural and glass-reinforced versions (still compatible with USP Class VI), and the new PolyPropylene PP1200.

"It is a major innovation for Prodways, which consistently develops its machines with a view to offering cutting-edge technologies to our clients," adds Alban d'Halluin, Chief Executive Officer of Prodways. "The two new contracts we have just signed in new markets are promising and confirm the development of 3D printing for industrial applications. They strengthen the global positioning of Prodways, whose main machine markets are located abroad."

Moreover, the machine has expanded the range to include a more effective material architecture. It provides a production speed of up to 2 liters per hour and a printing volume of 32 liters. It also has a higher level of resolution, a proprietary thermal control system, and an integrated camera for remote access. The ProMaker P1000X is positioned as the ideal solution for service providers and manufacturers targeting industrial-grade productivity and flexibility.
