About the Authors
Leigha Huggins surprised herself nearly a decade ago when a thoughtful gift became a passion for writing and creating. Inspired by the unique love between mother and child, her goal is to develop intentional stories filled with pure messages of wishes, welcomes, and wonder. Leigha states, "I believe in love, I believe in happiness, and I believe these things can be contagious, and the world needs more reminders of the simple joys and love that surround us. It doesn't have to be big, life-changing, dramatic, or earth-shattering. It has to be an appreciated moment, and I believe my stories will create appreciated moments to be cherished for a lifetime to come."
Heather Lean, is a lawyer by day, self-proclaimed “creative by night,” and mother of two, Heather’s hands are pretty full these days, but her heart is undoubtedly fuller. Heather’s author journey began in 2019 after losing her mother, but the desire to write was brewing for many decades prior to 2019. The loss of her mother and mother-in-law in such a short duration catapulted her into her writing and healing journey. After writing her first book, Angel Grandma (2020), she found herself writing several others, and it was the spark that ignited her passion for writing children’s books.
On taking inspired action, Heather’s motto is: “Do it now, don’t wait to take that leap of faith, your passion and burning desire and ideas- they’re an absolute gift from the universe and how do you say no to that?”
