The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (647-247-2481) near Toronto has updated several of its courses to provide students with additional flexibility during their training. The new courses allow students to complete the bulk of their education online, followed by hands-on training at the Academy.
Laval, Canada - June 22, 2023 —
Students can now access three updated training programs from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy in Toronto that combine online learning, hands-on training, and real-world experience, to help students complete their Medspa certification.
More information about individual courses, registration information, and the Dermysk Academy can be found at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy
While the Dermysk Academy requires students to complete a minimum of one week of in-person, hands-on training, the updated courses allow the majority of the class to be completed online, from the student’s own home. After completing the online portion of their studies, students can contact the Dermysk Academy to schedule a time for their practical training.
By allowing each student to work at their own pace, some students have been able to complete the course in as little as a few months, while other students can have as long as they require to complete the online modules. The online learning portion includes important information about the medical aesthetic industry, proven business strategies, and details about the regulatory and legal considerations of each procedure.
Students will also learn about the underlying physics and biology of popular medical aesthetic procedures, to ensure that they have a full understanding of their tools, and how each technique works. While the specifics will vary by program, students can expect to receive certification for up to a dozen medical aesthetic procedures, per course.
In the Basic course, which covers everything required to begin a new career as an aesthetician, students will learn about laser hair and tattoo removal, radiofrequency rejuvenation, fractional ablation, and several other popular techniques. Graduates of the Basic course can enroll in the Advanced course to get certified in more complex procedures, such as Cool Sculpting.
Though most students at the Dermysk Academy begin with the Basic program, they also offer another updated class for new students, which covers everything included in the Basic and Advanced classes, as well as additional, exclusive training. This Master level training course is only available to select students upon request, and interested parties should contact the Dermysk Academy team to discuss their options.
One recent graduate explained, “I just completed the Medical Aesthetics program with our instructor, Katrin. She is very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. I’m so happy I chose to take this course at the School of Medical Aesthetics and highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into this field.”
