In November 2016, China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited (the “Company”) introduced 5 aircraft. As at 30 November 2016, the Company operated a fleet of 579 passenger aircraft and freighters.

 

II.BRIEF EXPLANATION

 

In November 2016, passenger capacity of the Company increased by 12.9% as compared to the same period last year and passenger load factor was 79.1%, representing an increase of 0.8 percentage points as compared to the same period last year. Due to the increase in the overall bellyhold cargo capacity, the freight transportation capacity of the Company increased by 6% year-on-year. Freight traffic volume increased by 4.7% year- on-year, while freight load factor was 55.8%.
