Four new products include Fanatics-powered merchandise bundle and open edition NFTs
Candy Digital, the next generation digital collectible company, has unveiled its World Series trophy and medallion NFTs to commemorate the 2021 Fall Classic won by the Atlanta Braves. The collection includes three open edition products as well as a Fanatics-powered bundle available for fans exclusively after they spend $250 and purchase at least one product associated with the Braves. Fans can register on www.candy.com for an opportunity to buy the open edition trophy products and medallions.
The Gold and Bronze edition World Series trophy NFTs are available to purchase for $500 and $100, respectively, now through Saturday, November 6 at 9 a.m. ET, while the 2021 World Series medallion is available for $20.21 until Thursday, Nov. 11 at 9 a.m. ET.
Fanatics will offer the Silver edition World Series product to fans who spend at least $250 on Fanatics.com or MLBShop.com and purchase at least one product of Braves merchandise until 11:59 p.m. ET on November 9. Individual NFTs are not for sale.
“As we continue to pioneer the future of baseball and sports fandom, Candy is excited to unveil our first-ever World Series products and team merchandise bundle powered by Fanatics to celebrate the conclusion of a thrilling matchup between the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros,” said Scott Lawin, CEO of Candy Digital. “Now fans everywhere can feel more connected to the Fall Classic with their own official World Series trophy NFTs and a team medallion to commemorate the Braves’ victory.”
The World Series trophy and medallion collection is now available on Candy’s recently unveiled Beta platform where fans and consumers can directly purchase Officially Licensed Major League Baseball NFTs. The first series of products included “Play of the Day” and “2021 MLB ICON” packs featuring the 81 players selected to this year’s All-Star Game and 30 of the top prospects in the sport.
The World Series trophy and medallion collection marks Candy Digital’s latest innovation through its partnership with Major League Baseball, after previously launching “MLB Stadium” series, a 1-of-1 Lou Gehrig “Luckiest Man” NFT of the Baseball Hall of Famer, and the first-ever World Series NFT in partnership with the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
