London Hip DAA Specialist On SPAIRE Surgery Benefits, Improved Mobility: Update

MSK Doctors, a private hospital for regenerative medicine and advanced surgical procedures, has launched a new report exploring the benefits of the new SPAIRE DAA total hip replacement option, with a focus on improvements in post-surgical mobility and return to normal routines.

This new report from Professor Paul Lee, a hip and knee specialist and the founder of MSK Doctors, explores the new SPAIRE hip DAA technique, and how it can help clients to recover with their full range of mobility.

More information about the SPAIRE hip DAA technique, post-surgical mobility, and a self-booking option for consultations with a specialist can be found at https://mskdoctors.com

With new surgical options being developed all the time, it can be difficult for individuals to understand the benefits, drawbacks, and trade-offs of a traditional surgery, in relation to newer, advanced techniques. Professor Paul Lee explains how the SPAIRE technique differs from the standard procedure, and how it can provide a range of benefits, including reduced pain, increased mobility, and a faster recovery.

The SPAIRE technique is named for its ability to spare several important muscles and tendons in the hip from surgical damage, leading to less overall surgical trauma than a traditional hip replacement. This increased muscle and stability has been shown to help patients recover faster, with most able to practise standing and walking with crutches soon after their operation.

While there are other advanced hip replacement techniques available, such as the BIKINI procedure which is growing in popularity for its ability to reduce or eliminate the visible scarring, the SPAIRE technique is often considered the best option for a return to full pre-surgery mobility. While each operation is unique, the SPAIRE technique has been shown in several studies to improve post-healing mobility in comparison to the standard procedure.

This new technique has also shown significant progress in reducing the amount of pain experienced during the healing process, and the potential for accidental dislocations. Although dislocation risk is low with any technique, with only up to 3.9% of patients suffering a post-op dislocation, in a clinical study on the SPAIRE technique, no dislocations were reported at all.

Although this new technique offers several important benefits, it is not suitable for all clients. Specialists suggest scheduling a consultation with a hip DAA consultant, before deciding on a technique, as the optimal procedure for any one individual may depend on their unique anatomy, as well as their priorities.
