Maki Joins PXG to Lead Overall Operations in Japan, Including Financial Performance, Strategic Direction, and Market Growth

In this role, Shinoda will lead PXG’s business in Japan, overseeing sales, retail, operations, and marketing to further strengthen the company’s performance and expand its connection with golfers across the market.  

PXG currently serves golfers throughout Japan through a network of authorized retail partners, complemented by its flagship PXG Aoyama location in Tokyo. Together, these channels provide golfers with access to PXG’s high-performance golf equipment, personalized fitting expertise, apparel, and accessories.

Shinoda brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience spanning sporting goods, ecommerce, media, consumer retail, healthcare, and golf. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles with prominent global and Japan-based organizations, including Nike, Amazon, DAZN, Toys“R”Us, Bausch + Lomb, Bridgestone, and Playaz4Playaz. His experience navigating complex international businesses, combined with his understanding of Japanese consumers and fluency in Japanese and English, positions him to translate PXG’s global vision into meaningful local impact.
