Wheaton Precious Metals (NYSE: WPM) (TSX: WPM) announced its subsidiary Wheaton Precious Metals International Ltd. has completed a previously disclosed silver stream transaction with BHP related to the Antamina mine in Peru, securing rights to 33.75% of payable silver until 100 million ounces are delivered, followed by 22.5% for the life of mine. The agreement includes a $4.3 billion upfront payment and ongoing payments equal to 20% of the spot silver price, positioning Wheaton to enhance long-term production and cash flow through one of the world’s largest copper mines.
