Set to potentially be one of the biggest ARGs seen in recent years, Project Grindstone announces its full release to the public and welcomes more members to join its elusive society. The secretive project has been a whisper in the winds, with only sneak-peeks of its intriguing world being revealed to its Discord members.

The full public release of the ARG signifies a new element to the game. Previously only those with a special password could access the website. There is a never ending stream of activities to do across multiple mediums. From puzzles on the website and discord, to an official Minecraft server, this project is everywhere.

The players are referred to as “Applicants” by a mysterious organization called “The Universal Magic Academy at Dial.” While we do know it is a University teaching many magical skills such as alchemy, we don’t know yet what the organization’s goals or purpose is. Many players have been speculating but nothing concrete yet.
Players interact with each other, solving challenging plot-based puzzles of many types and collaborating in a community to contribute to the main arc of the story. New players are tasked to complete different ciphers and puzzles to advance in the game and receive more dangerous missions.
Dark, mysterious, and fun, the ARG is only available for members who join its community. Once subscribed, players start to receive missions to progress in their application process. The goal of the ARG is to be accepted as a full member of The Universal Magic Academy at Dial, as to be let in on all the secrets their organization is hiding. With many different departments inside the organization one can only speculate that players will be sorted into different departments based on their performance. Similar maybe to the sorting of Hogwarts houses?
Already, Project Grindstone has gained the support of many YouTube rising stars including Anna Pantsu, Logan Laidlaw, Beetlebug, and Stupendium, among others. Its growing Discord community has over 400 members and is still accepting new invites.
The ARG has daily quests that are sent through discord and even has its own Minecraft server. It projects a strong interactive community of thousands by the end of this year.
